Between Horizon High and Low

Barbara Maria Michalska was born in Poland in 1955. She resides in Vancouver, Canada since 1983. Desert Notes is the second poetry book by the author following Home of Melancholy published by Publish America in 2005. Her days are spent at clerical work, studying accounting, hiking, and working on the third book of poetry. The idea of writing Desert Notes was by most part inspired by Patrick Whites novel Voss and the metaphors born of everyday life.
