When Manny Whitefeather finished up his shift at the local dinner that night, he expected to go back to his boring little life, where every day was always just the same, and nothing new or exciting ever happened. What he got instead was witnessing the murder of the girl he liked at the hands of a horrifying bloodsucker who now knew his face.
