Blessings in Disguise

I began writing five years ago during Christmas when I couldn't afford gifts for my two children. I wrote each a poem instead, "Always My Baby" and "Blue Eyed Baby Boy" and have been writing since. I suffered abusive relationships and writing was therapy and my escape. I've managed to turn my life around and continue to remain clean and sober. Not all of my poems are from personal experiences but I attempt to interject myself in other's unique situations. With God's grace we can discover the positive in the most dire circumstances.
