Dr. Korrie Odell, a research scientist at the Morgan Institute, is in search of the riddle to immortality, one supposedly unlocked by Drs. Sheba and Cornelius Ransom, when she stumbles upon the Heathcliff-sexy and mysteriously elusive caretaker of the Ransom Estate.

Athan, a man of few words, is a disturbingly erotic riddle all unto himself until the dark night Korrie stumbles upon his deepest secret culminating in a night of primitive, electrifying consummation that shatters every sensual boundary of pleasure she has ever known.  Yet, getting Athan to trust her with his mysterious past is another matter entirely.  Frankenstein may have created a monster, but the Ransoms sculpted a lover without boundaries, without limits, and with a tortured conscience.  Yet could Athan be everything she ever hoped for in a lover, the man truly created for her alone?
