Book Title

In our first book “BIRDS FROM OUR AFRICAN PHOTO SAFARIS” we focused on the birds we had photographed in Africa. However there is nothing like the sight of predators roaming free to lift the heart rate either from the excitement of the first encounter or the sheer enjoyment of spending time with these wonderful animals.


Over the two decades that we have travelled to Africa our delight in seeing these ultimate predators has never wavered. Through our photographer friends we have been able to spend time with lion, leopard, cheetah and dog families watching and photographing the animals go through their day socialising in their family groups, teaching their young to hunt and to actually go hunting with them; watching them stalk and bring down their prey and the various methods of “feeding the family”.


In this book we look to share with you some of our favourite photos of predators and some of the stories behind the photos. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos just as much as we did taking them and that it will inspire you to get your camera and go on safari.
