After the death of her sister, Haley Glen is thrust into motherhood as she takes care of her infant nephew. Reeling from the pain of losing her sister, Haley finds out that the suspected father, famous children’s writer Sam Winston, denied paternity and cut little Joel out of his life. Haley hides her identity and takes a job as a live-in house sitter while Sam is on a book tour, vowing to make Sam accept Joel as his son.
