Bright Wings

Bright Wings is a series of 74 extended meditations drawn directly from almost

three decades of Catholic homilies based in the three year cycle of Sunday mass

readings. The reflections are rooted in the Biblical texts for a particular mass,

especially the gospel passages, but also include various literary allusions relevant

to theme. The form of the meditations is an interwoven flow of block paragraphs

and free verse.
