William Melton’s ‘Cardiovascular Examination’ is an in-depth explanation of the principles, methods and findings of the cardiovascular examination. Aimed principally at medical students entering their clinical years it can also be used by medical professionals at all levels. The book utilises video demonstrations and explanations of the specific elements of examination, aswell as images to show potential findings and a checklist for OSCE practice to demonstrate the correct way of examining the patient. 


Created by William Melton, a medical student at the University Hospital of South Manchester, this book combines his experiences of the trials of learning the cardiovascular examination and the experiences of Consultant Cardiologists in the hospital to provide an easy-to-read and detailed explanation of the cardiovascular examination.
