The Veterinary Microscopic Anatomy Review series is a 21-volume set of interactive iBooks to allow a Q&A type review of microscopic anatomy structure and function. The histological sections are taken from multiple domestic species, including the canine, feline, bovine and equine.

In this unit of the series, the heart, arteries (elastic, mixed, muscular and small), veins (large, medium and small), and the three types of capillaries are reviewed. The components of the vessel wall will be used to identify the types of vessels, and the function of the various types of vessels will be considered. In addition, a lymphatic vessel and capillaries will be examined.
