Choices

I once led a life on the streets. I befriended a few people, from whom I learned the basics of hustling.

I knew the danger of the game and witnessed the demise of a few associates, but that didn't impede me the life I had grown accustomed to. Along the way, I learned to be tough and fearless. At one point, I was incarcerated for crimes. But being in jail did not, in the slightest bit, sway me from my lifestyle. Upon release, I found myself back on the streets once again to escape the misery of life. The untimely attempt on my life as well as other experiences I had on the streets due to my bad choices. It also informs the reader no matter what we face in life, with God's help, we can overcome.
