In February ’64, a new sound filled the airwaves. Four young Englishmen arrived on American shores. They were the British Wave's spearhead, sparking the most prolific and diverse era in music history before or since.
Thinking all they needed were guitars, drums, and a few voices that could carry a tune, thousands of thirteen-year-olds jumped on the bandwagon as the fever spread like wildfire across America. It would be a time like no other.
Who imagined that the price of passage into rock ’n’ roll would eventually include their hearts, souls, and in some cases, lives?
Or that a small club in an old resort town on the Jersey shore would become the epicenter?
