Connected is the 5th book in the Bonded Billionaire Shapeshifter series.

The house and property Ari inherited from her Uncle Charles in San Marcos, Texas, is now called The Compound. Roman Davenport, the alpha panther shifter Tothar king, can barely rein in his rage over the kidnapping of Eddie, their adopted 4-year-old daughter.

 Gage Stryker, the second Tothar king, along with Ari Davis, their queen, finds it difficult to keep Roman under control.

Eddie's kidnappers were accepting bids for the child genius. Iran, the Arab Emirates, China, and Nigeria were the top bidders. It boils down to the Arab Emirates. Novi, one of the Komodo dragons, psychically connects with Eddie. She determines Eddie is in a metal box in the cargo hold of a plane.

Dimitri Alexeyev, a Russian Sherm had worked with on missions, flies to Saudi to track down where the kidnappers brought Eddie. With Novi's help, they discover where she is located.

Sherm discovers a recruit was a turncoat that led to Eddie's kidnapping, the serious wounding of two people, and the murders of several guards.

If that isn't enough, Sherm has an altercation with three thugs downtown, two of which he beat to a pulp when they went dancing. He discovers these people are in the FBI's investigation of the Los Demonios Guardan gang, a bunch of murdering brutes.

The gang leaders have their sights on The Compound. A gang war results. The military get involved, but not before Tommy Littlefield almost loses his life.

After the dead gang members are hauled away to the morgue, and the police take the apprehended off to jail, Roman and Gage return to the house for a tremendous surprise.
