Edward Sylvester Ellis (April 11 1840, USA -June 20 1916, USA)- American writer. Author of westerns, fantastic novels and history books, Edward was born in Ohio in hunter’s family – Sylvester Ellis and Mary Ellis. He worked a teacher and published poems and novels. Edward was author of children books about history of USA and other countries, and biographies of Tomas Jefferson, Christopher Houston Carson and Davy Crockett. He wrote 460 large works and 523-650 smaller ones. He was married twice. He died during holiday on the Cliff Island.
