This is a travelogue of our drive across America in the late summer of 2012. It began as a ‘today we are here” email to family and friends. We added commentary, maps and photos and the audience responded with emails of their own.
</p><p>
We left Fredericton New Brunswick (Canada) on August 23rd and arrived in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada) on September 9th.
</p><p>
We entered the United States at Maine’s northern border, drove down the inland east-coast states; turned west at Tennessee crossing the tornado belt (just ahead of them) to Las Vegas; then, turned north to follow the west coast all the way to Canada.
</p><p>
I built this ebook in iBooksAuthor, by copying the text of the emails, pasting in the maps from Automobile Association and the photos from the iPhone and my Canon DSLR. Voilà, a book.
</p><p>
The book will be most appreciated by friends and family who will now have the travelogue as a single document. But, please have a look for yourself, maybe read a few stories.
