Crossroads

It was 1918 and twenty-six-year-old George Austin, a small city journalist, was sent to cover the story of retired US Army colonel, Gordon Victor Remington, and the launch of his newest flying machinea rigid airship called GR-5 Cedar Dell.

At the suggestion of the Colonels attractive secretary, Sarah Kelly, he was invited to accompany nineteen influential dignitaries on a demonstration flight around Cape Cod and the islands of Massachusetts.

George hoped the story of that flight would cause his stalled journalistic career to finally take off.

And takeoff it would, but not as he planned.
