After finding some sort of redemption by catching the gang of robbers that held the city of Bayridge hostage, his world was rocked by the disappearance of Alexandra McIntyre, a journalist who meant more to Will than he was willing to admit to himself.

They had worked on a serial killer case together and managed to survive close shaves with death. Now, Will must do everything in his power to find Alex even as the town has to deal with the re-appearance of a serial rapist

Alexandra McIntyre has been through the most horrific experience of her life.

Her abductor had raped her and beaten her. As the days pass, Alex begins to lose hope in anyone rescuing her even the image of the brooding detective with the fiery green eyes she had held onto was beginning to fade. Alex is not ready to give up but her chances of getting out alive look to be fading away.

Now that a new criminal has decided to begin his own reign of terror on the citizens of Bayridge, abducting women and raping them, Will and his fellow officers have been called into action again to protect the people of Bayridge. This criminal seems to defy all the police attempts to find a pattern to his crimes or the victims.
