Datavisualisation Workshop Intro

This text is a speedy introduction in datavisualisation. It is used as an introduction of a workshop for students graphical design and fashion. The aim is to give the students enough information to explore the possibilities of datavisualisation into their fields and to use the experiments in their collaborations.
After this intro the students will do a mindmapping on a "political statement". This word or short sentence with double or triple meaning can be combined with some shapes coming from the domain of datavisualisation. These visual components will be emdroidered and knitted to see what happens if you "materialize" concepts and thoughts.
