Deeply Scarred Pictures

My name is Sean Porter. I was born in SouthBend, Indiana on September 16th 1974. My childhood was filled with a lot of sadness, and so much pain. Tragic to experience, Constantly overwelmed with abuse, alcohol abuse, mental, emotional, and spiritual abuse. I had to find ways of copeing, so I faught a lot, spent a lot of time studying martial arts, art work, and a lot of solitude that was forced upon me. I decided that poetry was my only option of expresing myself. Through poetry I could express myself, be honest, and relief myself of pain. I called this book ,"Deeply Scarred Pictures", for the purposes of showing the world that no one is alone in their pain. I've been beaten, did 11 and a half years in prison, I've been homeless, and I've had cancer, and yet I stand before you strong.My book is a window and reflection I want you to see, I can look out, and I'm allowing you to look in.
