A great start
I know the authors from their work at Marvel and looked forward to this. It’s a lot of character establishing and starting the main plot so it’s a tad slow (as first volumes usually are), but more importantly it’s pirates! Fun, action, and good characters. And as of the moment I’m writing this, it’s free!
The art took a little time to grow on me, and the sketches in the back helped me to appreciate the thought and hard work that went into designing everything.
Besides a few moments/panels, I feel like this manga could be suitable for my young son and not the teen rating it has.
