Diagnosis and Management of Glaucoma

Numerous technical and pharmacological advances have recently taken place in Ophthalmology, bringing enormous benefits to the patients. Specifically in glaucoma, which causes irreversible damage to the optic nerve, the early diagnosis is essential to prevent blindness. In spite of the advances, too many people still become blind due to this disease around the world. This occurs because the glaucoma prevention is inadequate. The aim of the authors of this ebook is to contribute for the reduction of blindness caused by glaucoma.
