It's a new decade and the Disneyland Hotel is poised for major change and expansion. Disneyland Park underwent significant updates and growth in 1959 with attendance skyrocketing. The Disneyland Hotel also continued to grow, having expanded to 306 rooms and suites by July 22 and 11 guest accommodation structures. With room enough for 1,000 guests, the Disneyland Hotel was the largest hotel in Orange County.
