As a Childcare Provider, one of the things that the author recognized as being very difficult for children was seeing their parents leave them behind in a new place, surrounded by different faces, and being in a strange environment could be a very uncomfortable situation for a child; especially in some cases for the first time. Do You Like Me? is a book that helps children, parents, teachers, and guardians prepare for the first day of school. It helps children understand what will happen, learn how to make friends, and cope with the anxiety of the first day of school.
