Doorways of Uncertainty

Not a celebrity or particularly gifted in sports, nor a child of socialite parents, my life has been unbridled, tumultuous, and wild, to say the least. Be ready for a roller-coaster ride as you read through my true-life story sharing my experiences growing up differently.

During my young adult years, I numbed myself with various illicit substances and alcohol to help cope with all that I share in this book. It will give you an opportunity to take a glimpse at my past. First, wrestling with the notion of being a closeted adolescent, trying to make it through each day without being embarrassed or ridiculed. Then struggling with the volatility of adulthood and all that comes along with that. The book characterizes how my mother did what she could to help shield me from the monsters in the world and how that shaped our relationship over time.

Some of you may relate to what you read here. Perhaps you are a parent who grapples with the realization that your child behaves differently from others. Maybe you are a friend who will need to intervene at some point when they see abuse or bullying occur.
