Duckfoot

Duckfoot was never fated for a soft life. Early on, the Backwoods beaver is orphaned, with only a mousy sister and a scruffy little tag-along muskrat to brave a bevy of harrowing setbacks and tragedies that will test his resolve and mold his character from a fumbly, awkward whelp to a burly, hard-worn, muckety-muck of the perilous Bottoms.

So buckle up and tramp along with Duckfoot through a dark, untamed forest and deep river crossings as he cheats death again and again while being haunted and hunted by a lame bear—a bear he crippled—in this, the third chapter of the Backwoods series.
