Tom Kane invited an AI language model to consider longing, hope, absence and loss. The response was not mimicry, but examination. Not sentiment, but structure. Not emotion, but reflection upon it.

Within these pages, human and machine voices sit side by side. One writes from lived experience. The other from pattern and probability. Together they explore what love looks like when viewed from inside and from the edge.

These poems do not pretend the algorithm feels. Instead, they explore where meaning truly forms.
