Emerald and Ebony

After a promising start to his new life in Australia, Larkin O'Grady falls on hard times. His luck seemingly changes for the better when he finds a mysterious gem in the middle of the bush. Everything he touches seems to come up green- a contract, a farm of his own and building the future that he dreamed of.

The discovery of a second object changes Larkin's luck when a drought hits and he loses almost everything that he's built. Is it possible to recover, to change his luck from bad to good, from ebony to emerald? Larkin thinks so, in fact, he'd do anything to make it happen.
