Visiting and staying in an estancia is one of the quintessential Argentine adventures, and provides an insight into the old gaucho culture. 

 

Those large rural estates that once raised cattle and sheep have now often shifted from livestock to crop farming. Some have been transformed to accommodate guests, to various degrees of luxury, particularly those with historic architecture.

 

The purpose of this book is to provide the reader with a one stop shop list of all the estancias located around the provinces of Argentina.
