What is nature? What is reality? How are we meant to live life, and comprehend all that goes all around us? The answers to these questions are still unknown, but in his seminal 17th century work, Benedictus de Spinoza attempts to establish the answers to them in his own way. Written in a logical, consistent manner, allowing the reader to follow the author's line of reasoning, Ethics establishes the human mind, the human condition, indivudality versus society, God, and a natural order of reality, all in the pursuit of answering questions that may be fundamentally unanswerable.
