Weeks after Mary Anne’s murder, Amelia Smith decides it’s time to take action, to find out the truth behind her friend’s untimely death. In order to do that she has to learn to trust a complete stranger… and quickly.

Parker Hill’s entire world is thrown off course when his old high school girlfriend Mary Anne is murdered. He’s determined to go to New York to track down her killer. He knows that in order to truly infiltrate the company she worked for; he’ll need to win over her best friend Amelia.

But as he gets to know her, he finds there are a lot of secrets in Amelia’s past that he can’t just ignore. Nor can he deny with each interaction the roaring desire she ignites inside of him. And the further into her past he delves, the more he wants to track down not just the murderer, but the person in her past that she is so desperately hiding from.

He just has to make sure she never finds out.
