It is not always the art, but the artist that people buy into.  Words about you and your art are vitally important, and you must learn how to talk and write about your art.  I discuss Bio's, Artist Statements, business collateral and more using real examples and insight gained from practical experience.  Learn to create art with words and you'll get what every artist wants; more eyeballs on your art!

I created this series from experience gained as a fine artist, a commercial designer, a business communications expert and  copy-writing professional.  I am blessed with many skills. Most artists can learn these skills but they often do not think like business-people and vice-versa.

I wanted to fill this void by providing some reference tools and insight you could add to your 'toolkit' without having to spend too much time studying how to use them.  This series highlights a lifetime of enriching experiences, some at great cost.  The world needs more artists.  It is a great time to be one.
