Floods Warning Systems: Method To Assess And Design Effective Flood Warning

This book describes a holistic and integrated method to assess and design effective flood warning systems. Aptly named the ‘Total Flood Warning System’ (TFWS) approach, it has been used by the author for several communities, particularly in the state of Victoria, Australia. However, although I draw mainly from my Australian TFWS experience for this book, the TFWS approach could be used to effectively warn any flood-prone community throughout the world.
