Home is supposed to be where the heart is. But what happens when the home is gone?

When a devastating fire destroys Jett and Keanna's house, Keanna barely escapes with their four-year-old daughter. Jett takes an opportunity to race in California for a charity event, and she can't help worrying that he's falling back in love with the spotlight he left behind.

Jett swore his racing days were over when he married Keanna and started a family. He wants quiet mornings, bedtime stories, and a life that doesn't flash by in a blur of cameras and crowds. But fame is a hard habit to shake, and old sponsors aren't ready to let him go.

While rebuilding their lives from the ashes, the family adopts a retired police dog no one else wants. He's stubborn, scarred, and in desperate need of a home they don't have right now. Living with her parents, juggling a four-year-old, and trying to hold on to what matters most, she has to decide whether to keep fighting for the life they built or let Jett chase his dreams again.
