Fortune's Fallen

Before the thief. Before the draco. Before the legend of Gideon Quinn began, he was simply a soldier with nothing left to lose.

Once a celebrated Colonel of the Colonial Corps, Gideon Quinn sacrificed everything to protect his company—and was rewarded with a conviction for treason and a lifetime sentence in Morton Barrens Penitentiary.

Under the merciless suns of Fortune's deadliest wasteland, prisoners harvest the volatile crystals that keep the colonies alive. Escape is impossible. Hope is dangerous. And every day a battle to survive.

Gideon intends to keep his head down and endure his sentence. Until he encounters Renny Boucher: a fellow prisoner with a long memory, a lingering hatred, and a thirst for revenge that may be even more deadly than the prison itself.

Which is when Gideon discovers there may be more to life in prison than he bargained for.

Say, for instance, death in prison.

Fortune's Fallen is a gripping science fantasy prequel filled with sci-fi action, prison survival, betrayal, revenge, and the first sparks of the hero Gideon Quinn will become.

Welcome to the Morton Barrens, where the suns are harsh, the food a joke, and the past unforgiving.
