Preservice Teacher Biography

Juan Pablo Restrepo

Born in Medellin Colombia on October 20, 1978, I am the only child to the most wonderful parents in the world. They are everything to me, and I hope to one day make them proud of my future accomplishments. I came to the United States with my parents in 1985 at the age of eight years old and have called Houston Texas home ever since. I enjoy giving back to my community and having the opportunity to work with children. There is no greater feeling than to make a difference in children’s lives. I am majoring in bilingual education at the University of Houston Downtown, class of 2013.
