From Within the Looking Glass

Gustave Geyer (Gus) is a single parent of two, guardian to one. Born in Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York, in 1952, he is the second in a family of five children. Gus was traumatized as a child, and is now diagnosed with multiple personality disorder. Published for the first time, his writing and artwork reflects the lives of his many parts. From his littles, who see the world with starry-eyed wonder, to his teens with their rebellious spirit, to the adults who are seen now by all, Gus allows his parts to express themselves freely. From their hopes and joys to their living monsters, inside and out, his alters take you through the life of a male multiple. Through their different writing styles and contrasting views, you will see their different age groups come to life. In hopes to break the media stigma associated with multiples, Gus brings to light the true life, thoughts, feelings, and diseases of his alters. Through his writing and artwork you will get a better understanding into the mind, the feelings, and the life of a male multiple.
