Getting Off On Frank Sinatra

In this award-winning mystery, a scorching Las Vegas summer is about to get even hotter.

Aspiring journalist Copper Black has enough trouble in her personal life. She's just discovered that her boyfriend is responsible for his not-quite-ex-wife's pregnancy. When an unexpected house-sitting opportunity at a notorious Las Vegas party house comes her way, the promise of a private swimming pool and a little solitude seems like the perfect escape.

But Copper's plans for a relaxing summer evaporate when, while researching a story about an exclusive private school, she stumbles upon the body of its beloved founder. Suddenly, she's caught up in a high-profile murder investigation that could make her career—or put her life in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, Copper's brother, a civic-minded pastor, is overseeing construction of a new center for the homeless. When an Indian medicine man declares the site a sacred burial ground, protesters descend, tensions escalate, and Copper finds herself drawn into yet another controversy.

Determined to uncover the truth behind the murder, help her brother, salvage her love life, and finally prove herself as a journalist, Copper plunges headfirst into a tangle of secrets and dangerous encounters. With a sociopath on her trail and a suspicious homicide detective watching her every move, she'll need all her wit, courage, and resourcefulness to survive.

Brimming with humor, intrigue, and the unpredictable energy of Sin City, Megan Edwards' Getting Off on Frank Sinatra introduces a smart, irrepressible heroine in a fast-paced mystery where nothing—and no one—is quite what it seems.
