Going Fishing

Rage wants to go fishing away from the crowds and brew some sagebrush tea. She drags Jones along for company and he makes a good pack animal. To get away from the crowds she decides to go into the Montana high country and even better a more or less restricted area to everyone.
It takes Colonel Hill to deliver them into Montana and another plane into the area she has chosen. The fish and animals have not seen a human for maybe 100 years. Things are going well until someone or something is in the same area. There is no way out because of the terrain, you walk for a week or stay.
Only the Colonel’s satellite phone allows them contact with the outside world. Why are armed men in the forest when no one should be there? The Colonel is very protective of the airbase so close to the restricted area. Rage finds the local deer and elk have been calving in the most unusual manner and the wolf’s have not been pupping as normal. What does it all mean?
