Book 1 introduces the history of Dr C S Gonstead, the development of his large practice in Mt Horeb, Wisconsin USA and the subsequent seminar program, the fundamental terminology and landmarks necessary for the practice of Gonstead Chiropractic technique, his level foundation principles, his understanding of the intervertebral disc and is structure, and his methodology to interpret the disc shape using Gonstead’s uniformity rule and relate this to the level of a potential subluxation.
