Greater Than I Know

Dennis awakes on Earth, cut off from everyone and everything he knows, except, of course for the inescapable Clay Byron. Far from a brave new world, this decrepit old one is infested with doctors who have discovered Dennis' special abilities, and, to his horror, his mental control has become fragile at best. This place even comes complete with its own hot and cold running Bosner brothers, just as insane and murderous as the first pair.



And the question that colored Dennis' every waking thought: As unlikely as it seemed, was he actually the last person standing in the path of the unraveling of the human race? Was that Artemus' mission, and now his own? No. The mundane truth was all too obvious. These alluring visions of him as hero, even savior, were designed to distract him, to tempt him with their parade of deceptions, and were merely the final stages of the attempted usurpation of his mind.



But what if he was wrong?
