Halloween Convergence

One city. Multiple timelines. A killer rewriting history. Welcome to the Nexus.

Daybridge exists in multiple states simultaneously—a city at a confluence of possibilities where the same people walk different streets and reality rarely commits. For the detectives of the Paranormal Detection Unit (PDU), keeping the peace in a town where supernatural residents celebrate Halloween openly is a delicate, high-stakes balance. But this year, the thinning veil is about to unleash an impossible nightmare.

When vampire elder Constance Whitmore is found dead on her own estate, the illusion of control shatters. Locked tightly from the inside, the crime scene is a physical impossibility: Constance lies exsanguinated, but her necromantic death signature points to a demise fifty-eight years ago in 1968, even though she was walking the streets just yesterday.

To solve this temporal crime, Detective Ethan Reeves—who possesses enhanced senses and strength from his merged consciousness with the ancient, protective bridge entity Guthrie Knox—must lead a desperate investigation. Alongside him are Detective Sam Smith and temporal sensitive Alice Chen, whose rare ability to perceive near-future probability branches is both an invaluable asset and a dangerous, mind-fracturing liability.

As the team digs deeper, they uncover a terrifying conspiracy tracing back to a mysterious pop-up Halloween megastore. The store has distributed thousands of blank, featureless white masks that are far more than simple holiday accessories. These masks are highly sophisticated temporal amplifiers designed to permanently fuse to their wearers' faces, fracturing human consciousness across infinite timelines simultaneously.

Behind the plot is a brilliant, grief-stricken temporal practitioner allied with the Chronolith Society—radical anarchists determined to break linear causality at any cost. As the clock ticks toward midnight on Halloween, the PDU team must descend into a sealed, bedrock chamber beneath the Daybridge Bridge to confront the threat. With thousands of mask-wearers already beginning to fragment and the very fabric of reality unravelling, the detectives must make an ultimate sacrifice to contain a temporal bomb before the city is erased from existence entirely.

Step into the world of Daybridge, where the line between past, present, and future is about to dissolve forever.
