Hamlet 372 wide vol.2

The scene for Hamlet is Denmark. The predecessor King Hamlet died and his younger brother Claudias took over the throne. He became desperate because his mother remarried an uncle. At that moment he hears the rumor that a ghost is appearing in the castle where he lives. He confirmed that it was the spirit of his late father. The ghost says it was his younger brother Claudias who killed himself. Hamlet vowed revenge, and pretended to be mad waiting for the opportunity to murder Claudias.

ハムレットの舞台はデンマーク。先代の王であるハムレット王が死に、弟のクローディアスが王位を継ぎます、王子(ハムレット王の息子)であるハムレットは、母のガードルート(ハムレット王の妻)が夫の死後すぐにクローディアスと再婚したことに絶望します。そんなとき、彼が住んでいる城に亡霊が現れるという噂を聞きつけます。彼が確認してみると、それは亡き父の霊だったのです。その亡霊は、自分を殺したのは実の弟のクローディアスであると言います。復讐を誓ったハムレットは、狂人のふりをしてクローディアスを暗殺する機会を待つのでした。
