Harvest

When Joe Kuhring win the Idaho State lottery, he thinks his best days are to come. Only a short time later, Kuhring is preparing to murder a woman he barely knows and then kill himself. Kuhring believes this is the only way to atone himself. Harvest recounts the journey that leads Kuhring first to Las Vegas, where tries to live as a professional gambler, and then onto Spokane, Washington and his association with a crooked lawyer. At each stop, nothing works out the way Kuhring intends and the consequences of his misdeeds mount. It is when Kuhring leaves Spokane, intending to vanish, that his greatest adventure begins.
