He Calls Himself Hunger

This is a modern interpretation on a Sin Eater's story. As a coming of age story, this novel is told through the perspective of Hunter Jones. After something terrible happens at his home town, changes in himself and in the world around him are triggered. Seemingly losing his humanity, Hunter runs away from his hometown with a long time friend Marie. Their journey takes them across America and then abroad. On their journey, they discover that being different doesn't make anyone less human than anyone else.
