Heaven On Earth

Five brothers suffer through an oppressive childhood on a dairy farm in upstate New York.  Each one of them, over time, experiences psychological pathology derived from the particularities of their personalities.   The youngest finds redemption in reading, and in learning to understand and empathize with family dysfunction going back two generations.
