Helpdesk, a Short Story about Artificial Intelligence and Synthetic Beings

P. Edward Auman's day job is in the field of Cybersecurity within risk management and information technologies. One of his current responsibilities is to assess various artificial intelligence-enhanced products (using 'large language models') in a variety of fields, but primarily in medicine. This short story is a rumination about the effects of utilizing AI, and how much it could potentially affect in our day to day experiences. Giles is a service desk operator, whom after completing a call with a customer needs a little assistance himself.
