Her Cowboy Nutcracker

They say you can't die of embarrassment.

But "they" never had too much spiked eggnog and danced with an oversized nutcracker in the middle of town.

That was bad enough.

But then I drunkenly announced how great I am at working with wood and how this nutcracker had the best wood. I even mapped it out with my hands.

And... the nutcracker turned out to be the sexy cowboy who's done nothing but get on my last nerve from the moment I set foot in town.

I. Could. Just. Die.

Now I have to face him sober. And Jake is looking at me like he wants to finish what I started. Which is absolutely not happening.

I'm nursing a broken heart, trying to keep my woodcarving business from failing, and hoping to forget the most humiliating night of my life.

But Jake has other plans. And the man I can’t stand is becoming the one man I can't stay away from.

I've always been a hands-on kind of guy.
And I like Cali's hands on me, that's for sure.

But she's wrapped up in a hurt so thick she doesn't want anything to do with me or my wood. I want to unwrap that hurt and make this a Christmas she never forgets.

All I have to is convince my gorgeous, prickly woodcarver that what started with a nutcracker can end with forever.
