Love Is the Answer! is the third in the series of memoirs How Did I Get Here?

The first volume, Rebel Without a Clue!, told the story of a young boy growing up in the 1960s/70s in north-east Scotland. That young boy grew up to be me, Gordon Craigie.

Readers said nice things about it, and that only encouraged me to write Volume 2: Raging Against the Machine!, which meandered through the 1980s/90s into the early years of this century – how scary does that still sound?”

Again, there was a lot of lovely feedback from readers and, by now, we all know what that leads to…

Yes, once more by popular demand (?), it gives me great pleasure to present Volume 3: Love Is the Answer! This book continues my exploration of the often-chaotic ups and downs of both adult life and career progression, and somehow involves a lot more travel stories than previously, which is a very good thing.

Love Is the Answer! therefore completes the trilogy, but… is there a twist in the tale? Could the definition of “trilogy” be stretched? You’ll have to read to the end to find out!
