"Everyone is asking how we made ‘An American Legend.’ Like many fans we both that is Scott and me Patricia felt bad when we heard the sad news that Karl Malden had passed, but it definitely pushed things in a new direction for us. Scott called me later on that same day. I was in the pet store holding a sack of parrot food when my phone rang, so I had to call him back from the parking lot.
