I Remember

This book, which is written in two parts,  is a true story of loss, perseverance, redemption and triumph.  It chronicles the life of a young girl from earliest childhood to adulthood, and focuses on her hard times and traumatizing experiences after the death of her mother and grandmother at the age of 12 and 13.  It expounds on the various mistakes she made during and after her teen years, tells how she was able to overcome obstacles and turn failure into success.
A return to the church brought about a transformation in her life, where she eventually discovered real love and happiness in her future husband.
This book will be of interest to young and older readers because the youth population will learn to avoid bad choices, yet realize that they can be overcome and a good or better life can prevail.  The older population will find affirmation that no matter how deeply in love a couple may be, failure to maintain good communication concerning issues that affect both persons' lives will create a breakdown in the relationship.  But in the end, prayer and forgiveness can heal all hurts and love will endure.
