In My Own Words is about a mother who writes to her teenage daughter, on how to cope with the fact that she is no longer around. How to deal with life's experiences. The good, the bad, and the ugly. She touches on subjects from how to live your life, men and relationships, the dos and donts of life. Shes stern and holds nothing back. She wants to inspire her daughter to always do the right thing, no matter what life brings. She also hopes to inspire someone else who has lost a parent and left with no hope or directions.
